For quality control purposes, all registrations by employers are reviewed by the Center for International Internship Development of Tunghai University. Employers are able to post open positions after the review process is completed, which usually takes about seven working days.
Yes, we allow employers to set the length of their internships.
After confirming the internship offer to the student using the Interview and Offer function, the system will notify the student of the offer. Once the student accepts the offer, the matching process is completed. We recommend that the employer sign an internship agreement with the school in which the student is enrolled.

(According to Order No. 10201408148B issued by the Ministry of Education on January 22, 2014, full-time or part-time work refers to the actual provision of paid or unpaid labor, but excludes program learning or service learning as defined below)：
1.A component of the academic program and dissertation research, or a graduation requirement.
2.Schools are allowed to set their own regulations on the aforementioned academic program and dissertation research component or graduation requirement—including internship courses, field study courses, laboratory research and other learning activities—in accordance with applicable laws.
3.The academic program and dissertation research component or graduation requirement shall apply equally to domestic students, international students, overseas Chinese students, and students from Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China.
4.The previous three requirements are met, and no other work is performed outside of the program learning.
Each university is allowed to set its own regulations on off-campus internship programs in accordance with applicable laws. Pursuant to the abovementioned order issued by the Ministry of Education, the university can decide whether off-campus internships are classified as program learning. If an internship is classified as program learning, no work permit is required, and the internship hours are not subject to the 20-hour limit per week, as stated in Interpretation No. 1020074118, issued by the Ministry of Labor on September 2, 2013. The internship program is administered according to regulations set by the school and the terms of the internship agreements between the school and the organizations offering the internships. If an internship is not classified as program learning, then it is governed by the provisions of the Employment Service Act and other applicable laws.

Premium members are members approved by an advisor. The internship advisor can provide valuable advice to the student. The advisor also reviews the reports submitted by the student during the internship and monitors the student’s performance at the internship.
Students who do not have an advisor or were not approved by an advisor are considered regular members.
Both premium and regular members can use the platform to search for internship opportunities. However, some employers may be inclined to select students with assigned advisors, as they appear to be safer picks.
This is not a strict requirement, but certain documents may help the HR departments of employers know more about your skills and qualifications and ensure that interview offers are sent to students who are good fits for the position. The more complete your profile is, the better chance of receiving interview offers.
Tip: Scan your transcripts or certifications and upload as pdf files so that the HR departments can easily read them.
Yes, the platform is open to all students regardless of grade level. Instead of applying for internships right away, you may also upload your resume first and browse the current open positions to see what companies are looking for. You can then participate in training courses organized by GIFT, slowly complete your profile by uploading additinal documents, and finally start applying for internship positions when you feel you are ready.
